Fun for both kids and adults, Blokus is a strategy board game that challenges spatial thinking. Bright colors and simple rules make it ideal for ages five and up, but adults will certainly be engrossed by this unique and challenging game.
Not Your Average Board GameBlokus encourages creative thinking and has received a Mensa award for promoting healthy brain activity. The goal of this game is for players to fit all of their pieces onto the board. When placing a piece it may not lie adjacent to the player's other pieces, but must be placed touching at least one corner of their pieces already on the board. The player who gets rid of all of their tiles first is the winner and strategic thinking helps as you block moves from your opponent. Blokus sometimes comes to an end because there are no more possible moves.
Four players make this abstract game especially fast and exciting; however, it can be just as fun for two or three players. Blokus has come up with a number of different ways to play the game to make it more thrilling when playing with less than four players. Draft Blokus allows a player to use more than one color and Reverse Blokus reverses the entire game so that the person who places the least amount of tiles on the board is the winner. It can even be played in a solitaire version when one player attempts to place all of their pieces in a single sitting. A game of Blokus typically lasts a 30 minutes. As a practical feature, raised edges on the board help keep the tiles in place and allow convenient clean-up. This game includes 84 pieces in four vibrant colors, an instruction guide, and one gameboard with 400 squares.
Blokus is simple to understand, but the game's complexity is revealed shortly after everyone begins to play. It can be addictive, even for those not normally into abstract games. Destined to be a Classic I'm a mathematics teacher and game lover. This game teaches involves logic and spatial visualization and is a lot of fun, especially with several players. It's appropriate for people of six years and up. Board games unite families and friends, and this is one of the best. Enjoy!
Most Fun Ever You can play this game right out of the box without having to read several pages of instructions. It is so simple even my 4-year old grandson can play it, but adults love it because there are unlimited strategies for getting all your pieces in play and every game is different. It is just so much fun and I recommend it to everyone. It is a perfect gift too. Best game I've ever played.

This is cool! This appears to be very durable, and of the same material as the high dollar fun jumps. I set it up for a birthday party and over a dozen kids broke it in, and then some. It stood up well to the abuse of hours of swimming by the kids. My only critisim of the product is that once you turn it off you loose all the water that you put into over the course of the use for that day. So be prepared to have a higher water bill due to that. So if your in an area with drought restrictions you could get into trouble using this product because of the constant use of water from the hose. It would have been better to have a permanently blown up lower section to retain the water and a recirculation pump to supply water to the slide and the water cannons. It doesn't though, and you have to run it off the hose each time. Other than that the kids love it, and have used it just about every day since purchasing it.
Extremely pleased Though this review is somewhat long, it will hopefully answer your questions. We are very pleased with this slide. We've now had it for a full month and have used it almost every day (there were maybe three or four days this last month that we didn't inflate it.) We've had no problems at all. It has been through two birthday parties one with about six, 6 year olds and another with about nine 10 year olds. Around the parties our kids have used it virtually every day and some days the neighborhood kids join them. I'd consider that pretty heavy use. The slide had held up just fine and I believe - and hope - that it continues to do so. Important - make sure all kids follow the rules - not only to make sure the slide lasts - but for their own safety, it is a just a toy and not a commercial unit after all. No more than one child at the top of the slide at a time and make sure children move away from the bottom of the slide as soon as they come down to be out of the way of the next child. Initial set up takes maybe a half hour while you make sure you do everything properly. Every set up after the first takes about 4 minutes - 2 minutes to spread out and plug in the blower and two minutes to inflate. That's it. Take down couldn't be easier. Unplug the blower and untie the vent on the opposite side. Completely
Could be better We like the water slide a lot; however, because we the only way to get water while playing is connecting to a garden hose, the water is always very cold. I wish the slide came with a recycled water system. One hose is connected to the slide, and then the water is distributed to several places, so the spraying water on the top is not powerful. Make sure there is a lot of water ruuning on the big slide when you slide; otherwise, you might have burned your arm or elbow skin as some kids and I did.

Darker than pic, but washes out to pic Shipment was quick; within 5 days or less (through Amazon's standard shipping). I purchased this 12 of this item to use for a group trip. I was a bit disappointed to see that it was a bit darker than pictured. Instead of sending it back (b/c there was a shipping fee), I just kept it. Used it anyways, but washed it before use. The color came out and it turned out a lot lighter; just like it's pictured! So now I like it! It was a bit deceiving at first. I recommend washing/rinsing first before use as the color may stain other clothing. Great price & great shipping! Downside is that the company prefers you to email them instead of calling.

New electronic reader user I love my new kindle! It reads just like a book, and the convenience of having my daily newspaper and blogs delivered instantly is amazing. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who spends a lot of time reading, or feels guilty about all the wasted unrecycled paper that is produced.
Great concept. Poor execution!! First of all, let me say that I love this little thing. It's easy to shop for what you want to read and to carry and a great concept. However, mine is going back for 2 reasons. The design is poorly executed. Unless the Whisper is supported by another platform there is almost no way to hold the reader without unwanted toggling back and forth amongst pages. If you try to hold it with your hand, you WILL toggle the pages. 2) There is no backlighting. I don't care what the concept was to produce the pages the same shade as whatever they are supposed to be. You need good lighting to read with it and this reader has none. In my mind, the lighting concept was as deficient as the support concept. That is to say, there isn't any. True, you could use a small reading light. But priced where this unit is, nope, figure out how to light it without the lamp on top of it. If the unit was $100 or so, I'd probably keep it. I do enjoy it. But priced where it is, IT IS NOT A VALUE PURCHASE!! Needs redesigning. It's going back! Hope this helps.
My world has changed I had been looking at the Kindle since it came out. I finally bought it when the price came down just a little bit... I could not wait any longer. I think my favorite feature is the "whisper-net". I can be anywhere and get a book delivered right "in my lap" in minutes. I have also wanted to subscribe to an international newspaper, but always found it rather invonveniantely set up through normal mail. The news would get to me so much later. Now with the Kindle this is all in the past. I get the Frankfurter Allgemeine delivered to me without having any delays. I read a few of the reviews on this item before I bought it. I think the only one I might really agree on is the "next page" button on the right hand side of the Kindle. It is rather easy pushing it by accident, but having said that... it takes a second to push the "back page" if that happens. All in all, one of my best purchases ever!

Editorial Review Did you know that painted ladies (the butterflies, that is) taste with their feet and have 10,000 eyes? You and your kids will be fascinated by all you learn about these beautiful creatures with the Butterfly Garden from Insect Lore. The kit comes with a relatively easy-to-assemble observation chamber; supplies for feeding the butterflies (you provide only sugar and water); an informative booklet of clear instructions and butterfly facts; and a certificate for three to five free painted lady caterpillars. The metamorphosis from larva to butterfly takes about three weeks from when you receive the caterpillar larvae (which arrive in a small container with all the nutrients they need). Your children can watch the larvae increase dramatically in size, form chrysalides, and finally emerge into full-fledged painted ladies (it's suggested that they release the butterflies after a few days of observation). This would make a wonderful activity for families with kids of any age, but younger children will need help assembling the observation chamber and reading the instruction booklet. Really Interesting I thought that this product was a great idea. There are a couple of issues that I had with this item. To order the catapillars cost an extra fee, that while it was minimal, it was unlisted in the product description. The other thing is that the kids, (ages 9 & 5) were disappointed that they couldn't touch the caterpillars. All in all this was a educational product that can be used again, and would be great for a science fair project.
live butterflys My almost three year old son loves bugs. So we thought this would be a great toy for him. I think I like it more than him, he is more hands on, and of course you cant really touch the catapillars, you just have to look at them. But they are just now beginning to turn into cocoons. I will for sure be ordering more catapillars and doing this again!!

stylish BUT.. The case makes my iphone stylish and I like that it is very slim, perfect fit. Although I must admit the polycarbonate case will not protect my phone if I drop it accidentally,but it will protect the sides and the back from scratches.I also like that the color is the same as what the picture shows. I let my husband critique the case since he used to work for a Japanese MOLDIE company for plastics,polycarbonate etc. and he said it is a good case but he does not like the lines on the sides of the case where they connected the parts together...this is where the Japanese will reject the job for quality reasons..this is where it will break (since I have to remove the case to dock or charge my phone).He said if they can make it as one whole piece it will be a better quality. He also mention that he did not like that they spray painted the case(the insides have different color and you can see the red spray paints but it is not visible when you put the phone in the case). He must be right because the same lines on the side of the case that he mentioned is where I see the paints coming off, making the line more visible.I still give it 4 stars because for the price and the way it makes my iphone look stylish.
white case does what it's supposed to This case pretty much does the prescribed task: It wraps around the iphone! Unlike most out there, it's not bulky, so it fits in your pocket a little better. It's one of the cheaper ones out there, but you get what you pay for. I bought the white case, and the inside is still black, you could tell that they just sprayed the outside white. It's held up pretty well, not much to complain about for 14 bucks
Best case, period! The case clips onto your phone. It is as thin as two playing cards. The feel is like rubber but it is durable polycarbonate. Easy to put into your pocket and to hold. I have dropped my phone twice (grrr) and the cozip has protected it beautifully. About 4 of my friends now have taken one look (and one feel) of my cozip and have ordered their own. It's a must have for any iPhone user!

SLOW shipping on some items Great price for American Apparel products. Unfortunately, it turned out that they didn't have 1/3 of the stuff I ordered. Then they shipped a bunch of the items really late (two weeks). They told me it was because they're new inventory. They really need to update their Amazon posts to reflect what is CURRENTLY in stock!
Awesome The BF loves American Apparel shirts as undershirts in white or ash grey, so in addition to those I got him some in colors he doesn't usually wear. The red is cheery and bright and the eggplant is a dark rich purple. Getting them online from places who buy AA in bulk and pass on the savings is so much cheaper than walking into AA and spending >$15 on a simple cotton shirt. As always, the shirts I received were quality material- soft, durable cotton in an excellent cut.
