Love Roberts, Liked the Book I love Nora Roberts and have been reading her books for probably a dozen years. Although she didn't cover any new ground in this book, that's fine with me because I enjoyed the characters of Cilla and Ford. I always love the focus on family relationships in Roberts' books, and she definitely created a character with Spock! My only dislike of the story was how hurried it was in the end - the sweet relationship between Cilla and Ford came to a screeching halt and all of a sudden there was a twist and an unexpected bad guy...and this didn't ring true to me or to the story line. However (and this could just be me), I enjoyed the book overall - it was just the last 30 or so pages that disappointed me.
Delightful! Delightful is the only way I know to describe this book, and the delight is in the two main characters. In a role reversal, the hero is the laid-back, more passive character and the heroine is the driving force. This is not to imply that he's a wimp and she's a harridan but more that he's not the typical over-protective "I can do anything" man and she's not the "oh, please, save me" woman. The plot is not particularly original, but the male/female relationship saves the day. I loved it!
Couldn't stop reading... Nora Roberts has done it again. This is one you should not start until you have time to finish it.

A review for those wondering I think The Host was an amazing novel.I was skeptical to read it at first because it was science-fiction, and so debated buying it. I love The Twilight series though and so decided I would read it.I just recently finished it and found it incredible.I find it to be just as-if not more than-great as The Twilight novels.If you are pondering whether or not to buy this due to it's genre classification, I definitely encourage you to read it.
I want my 2 weeks back! I loved the idea behind this book it instantly drew me in. Then it dragged and then it dragged some more. The plot had holes the size of Chicxulub crater. My girlfriend gave this to me while she finished twilight. She raves about twilight but I don't think ill be reading it. By the end of the story I honestly didn't care about any of the characters and I was just hoping the last 100 pages or so were blank.
Couldn't put it down When I started this book, I didn't think I would rate as one of my favorites. I was so wrong. The first few chapters, I wasn't clear where this story was heading and I was a little bored, but they are very important chapters for setting in your mind the information (the occurences and emotional climate of the characters) that is needed through the rest of the book. Chapter 4 is where I was hooked as the story began to unfold and then you just can't stop reading. I LOVED IT!

Solid performance, but... I've had no performance problems so far; it's relatively fast. However, while the drive is Mac compatible, it isn't automatically so, out of the box. I had to hunt through the support pages at the Iomega site to find instructions on how to repartition for Mac compatibility. It's not brand new on the market; I'd have though Iomega might have included info about repartitioning for Mac by now.
Defective When i got my external hardrive I was excited to use it right away, after one session of uploading photos, videos, and word documents I properly ejected, shut off, and removed the USB port. next time I tried to use it, the light wouldn't come on, and the file icon would not show up on my computer. Now i cannot acces anything on my external. How would i go about using the warranty on this product without getting all my files erased? -Rick
excellent product, great performance, It does make a little of a blowing noise like some of the review state but is due to the 7200RPM and all I need it was storage and this product definitively have that. Really, it don't interfere with a movie viewing because you can always place it on the floor or away from your location. Very satisfied with it, that might buy another one.

Destined to be a Classic I'm a mathematics teacher and game lover. This game teaches involves logic and spatial visualization and is a lot of fun, especially with several players. It's appropriate for people of six years and up. Board games unite families and friends, and this is one of the best. Enjoy!
Most Fun Ever You can play this game right out of the box without having to read several pages of instructions. It is so simple even my 4-year old grandson can play it, but adults love it because there are unlimited strategies for getting all your pieces in play and every game is different. It is just so much fun and I recommend it to everyone. It is a perfect gift too. Best game I've ever played.

Not Your Average Board GameBlokus encourages creative thinking and has received a Mensa award for promoting healthy brain activity. The goal of this game is for players to fit all of their pieces onto the board. When placing a piece it may not lie adjacent to the player's other pieces, but must be placed touching at least one corner of their pieces already on the board. The player who gets rid of all of their tiles first is the winner and strategic thinking helps as you block moves from your opponent. Blokus sometimes comes to an end because there are no more possible moves.
Four players make this abstract game especially fast and exciting; however, it can be just as fun for two or three players. Blokus has come up with a number of different ways to play the game to make it more thrilling when playing with less than four players. Draft Blokus allows a player to use more than one color and Reverse Blokus reverses the entire game so that the person who places the least amount of tiles on the board is the winner. It can even be played in a solitaire version when one player attempts to place all of their pieces in a single sitting. A game of Blokus typically lasts a 30 minutes. As a practical feature, raised edges on the board help keep the tiles in place and allow convenient clean-up. Destined to be a Classic I'm a mathematics teacher and game lover. This game teaches involves logic and spatial visualization and is a lot of fun, especially with several players. It's appropriate for people of six years and up. Board games unite families and friends, and this is one of the best. Enjoy!
Most Fun Ever You can play this game right out of the box without having to read several pages of instructions. It is so simple even my 4-year old grandson can play it, but adults love it because there are unlimited strategies for getting all your pieces in play and every game is different. It is just so much fun and I recommend it to everyone. It is a perfect gift too. Best game I've ever played.

This is cool! This appears to be very durable, and of the same material as the high dollar fun jumps. I set it up for a birthday party and over a dozen kids broke it in, and then some. It stood up well to the abuse of hours of swimming by the kids. My only critisim of the product is that once you turn it off you loose all the water that you put into over the course of the use for that day. So be prepared to have a higher water bill due to that. So if your in an area with drought restrictions you could get into trouble using this product because of the constant use of water from the hose. It would have been better to have a permanently blown up lower section to retain the water and a recirculation pump to supply water to the slide and the water cannons. It doesn't though, and you have to run it off the hose each time. Other than that the kids love it, and have used it just about every day since purchasing it.
Extremely pleased Though this review is somewhat long, it will hopefully answer your questions. We are very pleased with this slide. We've now had it for a full month and have used it almost every day (there were maybe three or four days this last month that we didn't inflate it.) We've had no problems at all. It has been through two birthday parties one with about six, 6 year olds and another with about nine 10 year olds. Around the parties our kids have used it virtually every day and some days the neighborhood kids join them. I'd consider that pretty heavy use. The slide had held up just fine and I believe - and hope - that it continues to do so. Important - make sure all kids follow the rules - not only to make sure the slide lasts - but for their own safety, it is a just a toy and not a commercial unit after all. No more than one child at the top of the slide at a time and make sure children move away from the bottom of the slide as soon as they come down to be out of the way of the next child. Initial set up takes maybe a half hour while you make sure you do everything properly. Every set up after the first takes about 4 minutes - 2 minutes to spread out and plug in the blower and two minutes to inflate. That's it. Take down couldn't be easier. Unplug the blower and untie the vent on the opposite side. Completely
Could be better We like the water slide a lot; however, because we the only way to get water while playing is connecting to a garden hose, the water is always very cold. I wish the slide came with a recycled water system. One hose is connected to the slide, and then the water is distributed to several places, so the spraying water on the top is not powerful. Make sure there is a lot of water ruuning on the big slide when you slide; otherwise, you might have burned your arm or elbow skin as some kids and I did.

Darker than pic, but washes out to pic Shipment was quick; within 5 days or less (through Amazon's standard shipping). I purchased this 12 of this item to use for a group trip. I was a bit disappointed to see that it was a bit darker than pictured. Instead of sending it back (b/c there was a shipping fee), I just kept it. Used it anyways, but washed it before use. The color came out and it turned out a lot lighter; just like it's pictured! So now I like it! It was a bit deceiving at first. I recommend washing/rinsing first before use as the color may stain other clothing. Great price & great shipping! Downside is that the company prefers you to email them instead of calling.
